Secure KVM Switches

IPMI KVM Switches

The Health Manager KVM Switch offers multiple computer access along with Remote Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) monitoring from a single console (keyboard, monitor, and mouse). IPMI allows the monitoring of server hardware health related factors including CPU temperature, voltage, fan speed, etc. In addition, IPMI provides maintenance tools such as system reset and power On/Off. IPMI is quickly becoming a computer industry standard for troubleshooting and failure prevention. Best of all, IPMI can be deployed remotely (Out of Band), even when a system is down.

High-Density KVM Switches

The entry level series of ALTUSEN High-Density KVM switches are offered in 8 and 16 computer port configurations with a 1U high housing for convenient rack mounting. They allow administrators to control multiple computers from a single KVM console. All switches are capable of expansion to provide control of up to hundreds of computers from the original single console for a flexible and economical solution for server room administration.

Matrix KVM Switches

ALTUSEN matrix KVM switches from ATEN provide a revolutionary new way for IT administrators to maximize efficiency while managing mission-critical servers. Designed for corporate server rooms, matrix KVM switches feature multiplatform support both for servers and consoles. Matrix KVM switches allow a diversity of consoles to independently and simultaneously access servers. By combining ALTUSEN KVM adapter cables and console modules with a matrix KVM switch, previously incompatible console and server platforms interface flawlessly. And for the continually expanding server room, these KVM switches cascade and daisy chain to accommodate thousands of servers.

Matrix Plus

For tailored expansion options, the Matrix Plus? allows you to add servers one at a time, instead of having to buy another matrix KVM switch. Whether you have USB, PS/2, or Sun interfaces, you can link the KVM adapter cables to the master module for complete control and flexibility. If rack space is a major concern, ALTUSEN Matrix Plus? is the perfect solution. Matrix Plus? solutions occupy the least amount of rack space; all master modules and KVM adapter cables can be bracket mounted to the rack. Chain Alive function supports power from both the attached computers and the chain busensuring that the entire chain functions even if one of the servers on the chain loses power. In standalone chain installations, console modules and KVM adapter cables connect via inexpensive, standard Cat 5 cable.

LCD KVM Switches

ALTUSEN Hideaway? LCD KVM Switches are rack mounted keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) consoles with LCD monitor, keyboard, and touchpad. They require only 1U of rack space, thus conserving valuable real estate in your data center. Most ALTUSEN Hideaway? LCD KVM Switches have an integrated 8 or 16 port KVM switch. Users can easily and conveniently control attached servers directly from the KVM switch console; it is not necessary to connect any extra keyboard, mouse, and monitor. ALTUSEN Hideaway? LCD KVM Switches incorporate stable, high-quality KVM switches. Along with excellent mechanism design, they also offer a host of interfaces and functions to meet your individual needs.

KVM Over the NET™

The KVM Over the NET™ series consists of IP-based KVM control units. They allow both local and remote operators to monitor and access multiple computers from remote locations using a standard Internet browser.Since KVM Over the NET™ products use TCP/IP for their communications protocol, they can be accessed from any computer on the Net whether that computer is located down the hall, down the street, or halfway around the world.

Serial Over the NET™

The Serial Over the NET™ products are control units that provide both In-Band and Out-of-Band remote serial access to up to 8 or 16 servers or other serial IT devices (hubs, routers, power management devices, etc.), via a Telnet or SSH TCP/IP connection. Up to 8 or 16 Users can simultaneously log in from any computer connected to the Internet, whether down the hall, or half way around the world to manage serial devices that support the RS-232 protocol or RS-232 terminal operations. A choice of browser based GUI, Telnet (SSH), and VT console terminal sessions make configuration and operation smooth and convenient.

Guardian Over the NET™

The Guardian Over the NET™ is a control unit that offers remote environment monitoring and management of critical computer systems over IP networks. The Guardian Over the NET™ makes it easy to control system health anytime and from virtually anywhere.Up to 255 additional GN0116 units can be daisy chained down from the original unit, providing remote environment management to large number of data centers. With its advanced features and ease of operation, the Guardian Over the NET? is the most convenient, efficient, reliable, and cost effective way for administrators to monitor and manage their server environment.

Power Over the NET™

Power Over the NET™ products are control units that offer remote power management for up to eight devices (computers, hubs, routers, etc.). The PN9108, for example, supports remote power management for AC outlets via a TCP/IP connection, while the PN0108 can be connected to an ALTUSEN or ATEN TCP/IP accessible module via its PON (RS232) port. Both models allow administrators to control the power off, power on, and reboot status for each attached device from any computer connected to the Internet, whether down the hall, or half way around the world.

Control Center Over the NET™

The CC1000 Control Center Over the NET™provides secure, centralized access, administration and management of your entire network local and worldwide anywhere, anytime. This software based solution consolidates the management of your ALTUSEN / ATEN "Over the NET™" devices, providing a convenient, flexible way to meet your IT infrastructure needs. The CC1000 allows all your devices to be securely accessed and controlled by means of a single IP address. All servers and network equipment are integrated into a single tree view, making the CC1000 ideal for enterprises with data centers and branch offices located in several remote locations. An intuitive, browser-based GUI provides convenient access and control of all equipment.

KVM Extenders

The KA9250 KVM Extender allows a user at a keyboard, video, monitor (KVM) console to manage the servers in a KH0116 16 Port High Density KVM Switch installation up to 150m away. The KA9250 module connects to the KH0116's RJ-45 remote console port via standard Category 5 cable for a neat and reliable installation. When a local and remote console are present, both can access the KVM switch. The KA9250 features a custom ASIC to ensure the utmost in reliability and compatibility. It can also sense the distance to the KH0116 and automatically adjust the video gain to compensate. Control your KVM switch from up to 150 meters away by extending the distance to your KVM console with a KA9250 KVM Extender.

KVM Modules

ALTUSEN matrix KVM switches provide modules approach to server management. Console modules connect to keyboard, video, mouse (KVM) consoles, and KVM adapter cables connect to servers. In turn, console modules and KVM adapter cables connect to the matrix KVM switch via inexpensive, standard Cat 5 cable. Install consoles and servers where they are most needed without the need for KVM extenders. ALTUSEN console modules and KVM adapter cables employ Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) to transmit high-quality video (1024 x 768 @ 60Hz) up to 300 meters from server to console. ALTUSEN offers several console modules and KVM adapter cables with varying interfaces to support all of the most popular consoles and servers: USB, PS/2, PC, Mac, Sun, and Serial.
